Under the Willow Tree Ezine Review
Under the Willow Tree, the brainchild of founder Michele Washam, has launced an ezine in celebration of living the simple life and homesteading. The tag line for the community is "Country Living No Matter Where You Are." This pretty much sums up the mission of the company which is also launching an eTV show and already has a Blog Talk Radio show.
The premiere issue is only 10 pages long but it's a great start for what hopefully will be an expanding publication. In this issue, the big story is the Dervaes family, the people who want to trademark the phrase urban homesteading and what you can do to stop them. There is also an article from Deanna Duke from the Crunchy Chicken blog on pastured meat rabbits and one from the City Cents blogger and Under the Willow Tree's urban homesteading Editor-in-Chief Julie Charet on the importance of choosing quality home items. I look forward to seeing future issues.
They're also looking for submissions, so if you have a great homesteading, frugal or green living idea you want to see in print, you should check them out.
