Jewish Preppers
One of my goals with this blog is to help people find others of like mind and open up to the idea of prepping. I especially want to broaden people's awareness of what preppers and survivalists look like. In essence, they're everywhere and don't always fit a stereotype. Here I introduce you to a prepper doing what he can to get the word out to his people about how important emergency preparedness is.
His name is Josh Wander and he's associated with the Jewish Preppers site. He has his own YouTube channel on prepping as well as another channel with family, faith and prepping videos. From his bio on YouTube, he has a Bachelor's degree in Talmudic law and has served in both the IDF and United States Air Force Auxillary. In the video below, he shares his thoughts on why he believes Jews should be more prepared. He brings up good points about Jews who say, "It couldn't happen here."
This second video is an opening to his Jewish Prepper series. He shares some tips on food prepping, especially in regards to kosher foods.
Another resource you might find helpful is the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. While not specifically geared towards prepping, firearms are part of emergency preparedness. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of the Jewish prepper community and more Jews will make their voices heard soon.
