Dr. Bob Discusses Preventing and Surviving Rape in TEOTWAWKI
Not to be a drag, but I wanted to direct you to an excellent article by Dr. Bob on the Survival Blog called Preventing and Surviving Rape in TEOTWAWKI. He points out the high likelihood of criminals turning to rape in a SHTF scenario.
I recall reading about some rapes that occurred during Hurricane Katrina because there was the opportunity with the breakdown of law enforcement, and that is just the tip of the iceberg as far as what could happen in a societal breakdown. I think this could also happen in a shorter term situation in large cities where the grid goes down for a few days. There are all kinds of scenarios and Dr. Bob has good advice for each on prevention and how to help survivors the best way possible.
